This unique album told a story that I wanted to retell through the visualsI created. I had the opportunity of listening to every song and paid attention to the sonics of the album. I simultaneously spoke to the artist, asking him a set of questions to help me understand what he wanted the album to represent. I then proceeded to make the art that narrated this message. I worked digitally for the entire process, including thumbnail sketches and colour palettes. 

After the first few iterations of the illustration, the artist decided he would prefer a different route that was slightly less abstract. I changed direction and explored this new possibility, working on my own lettering for the text. This gave the picture a slightly more relaxed, street-vibe, which is exactly what the artist was looking for. After a few colour explorations to push the boundaries, we were able to finalise the piece.
